Welcome Message from President Rhoden
Texas Chapter #16 was established and chartered in 1991 and is based in Temple, Texas located in the heart of the Central Texas. Our members are from Federal, State, County, and City law enforcement agencies. Our membership is currently at 19 members from numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the Central Texas Region. We are chartered with the Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club and a part of the Rio Grande Conference which encompasses Texas, Arkansas and the Central Time Zone of Mexico.
There are currently forty-one (41) chapters in Texas and nine (9) chapters in Arkansas with no current members or chapters in Mexico. We have more than 1,700 members in the Rio Grande Conference and are continuing to grow. The Blue knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club now has a total of 635 chapters in 29 countries with over 20,490 members.
We are proud to wear our colors with the State rocker because all of us carry badges which plainly proclaim our service to the State. Many of us have fought, bled and sacrificed for our communities. Some of us have saved lives, a few of us have had to take lives but ALL of us would GIVE our lives to protect the people of our communities. We have EARNED the right to wear our colors.
