  HOPE!!!

1 Cor  15:58

A. We are beloved of  God

1) He loved so much that God sent
his  only son to die on the cross for our sins

2) Beloved translated from
Greek & Hebrew means to love

B. We are to be  steadfast

1) Translated sedentary or  immovable

2) We can do this by fixed in the faith of
the gospel that gospel  which he had preached and they had received, namely,

a) That Christ died for  our sins, and arose again the third day,
according to the scriptures (1Co_15:3,  1Co_15:4)

b) Because he lives, his servants  shall live also, Joh_14:19.

C. We are to be  unmovable

1) Col 1:23 If ye continue in the  faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel,  which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is  under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

2) Christians should not be  moved away from this hope of this
gospel3) He exhorts them to be immovable,  namely, in their expectation of this great privilege of being raised  incorruptible and immortal.

4) This hope should be an anchor to  their souls, firm and
sure, Heb_6:19.D. Always abound  in the work of the Lord

1) Obeying the Lord's commands.

2)  They should be diligent and persevering herein, and going on towards perfection;  they should be continually making advances in true piety, and ready and  apt for every good work.

E. Labor in the Lord is not in  Vain

1) Christians have undoubted evidence  that their labour will not be in vain in the Lord

2)He will never be found  unjust to forget their labour of love,
Heb_6:10.

3) We will  endure; Rom_8:18.
